5. Pine Lake Park

If the kids need to release some energy, then Pine Lake Park is the place to go. This park features designated areas for playing basketball, baseball as well as a children’s playground. The lake is also open for boating and swimming.

6. Beaver Lake Park

With 83 acres of trees and greenery, Beaver Lake Park is a hotspot for those looking to take a nature hike. There are also plenty of picnic areas for families. The park is pet-friendly, with an off-leash dog park.

7. Equine Escapes

Horse enthusiasts can enjoy a 1-2 hour guided trail ride with an equestrian expert at Equine Escapes. Located just outside Sammamish, WA, they provide relaxing horseback rides. Many of the horses were rescued.

8. Stone Gardens

Anyone with kids knows that they love to climb, and they can practice their skills at Stone Gardens. This indoor climbing facility features 21,000 sq. ft. of climbing terrain. They offer courses for beginners, as well as rappelling for more advanced climbers.

9. Big Block Brewing

For something more adult-like, consider tasting some locally brewed beers from Big Block Brewing. Their taproom features 20 of the finest beers from the Sammamish, WA area. Come find out why they’ve been voted Best Brewery for multiple years.

10. Village Theatre

Catch a musical on stage at Village Theatre. They are always featuring great productions, including family-friendly shows on their KIDSTAGE. They even offer classes for children who are interested in learning more about acting.
